Huxtaburger secures 10-site franchise partnership in NSW
The burger chain is also eyeing an Asian expansion.
Huxtaburger has secured ten development franchise agreement partnerships with investment company Yesdac Group across New South Wales with further plans to launch in Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia and China.
In an announcement by marketing firm DC Strategy, the state-wide expansion will start with the burger chain’s first opening in Sydney in September.
“We are very excited to announce the Huxtaburger NSW & Asian Franchise Expansion Agreement with Yesdac. We have been searching for high performing partners to open multiple sites and develop regions across Australia and Asia,” Matt Fickling, Huxtaburger CEO, said.
Meanwhile, DC Strategy chairman Rod Young commented that the burger brand is at the “tipping point” of its business.
“The premium burger segment of the global foodservice environment is growing rapidly but it takes outstanding brands, people and operations to be in the top quartile of this highly competitive market. Huxtaburger has now arrived at that tipping point and is attracting not only more customers and more revenue but a better quality of business oriented entrepreneurs who can see the differentiation and innovation that is launching the Huxtaburger brand to greater heights,” Young said.
