Guzman y Gomez ties up with Caltex with new store at Melbourne
The brand is planning to expand with three more locations this 2017.
The new restaurant at Caltex Foodary, South Yarra will launch on July 24th, and is the first GYG to open in the location. There will be free burritos for all, from noon until 7pm.
Steven Marks, founder of Guzman y Gomez, said, “At GYG, we are passionate about creating the best fast food experience in Australia with the best produce, best crew, best service and most authentic Mexican culture and menu. We’re proud to partner with Caltex Foodary sites to ensure delicious, high quality Mexican food is easily accessible for even more Aussies on the go.”
“Our free burrito days always go off our current record is over 6,000 burritos given away - that’s an average of one burrito being rolled every 8 seconds. So, come on Melbourne, show the rest of Australia what you’re made of and help us smash these records,” he added.
Once the promo is done, Melbourne locals can come back to try the whole menu, including a range of new menu items including Cali Burrito, Nacho Fries, and Cheese Fries.
“GYG is reinventing fast food for the 21st century and that means our guests never have to compromise on quality for the sake of convenience and speed. This is just the first step with much more to come, so keep a close eye on GYG and Caltex this year.“
