Gelato Messina presents 'Messina Eats Wonderbao' pop-up

As part of its monthly Messina Eats two-day pop up event, the brand is teaming up with Wonderbao to launch a pop-up in Sydney.

Held at Gelato Messina's Rosebery HQ in Sydney on 29th to 30th July, the pop up will offer Wonderbao's signature gua baos, handmade bao pastry and traditional BBQ pork buns. The pastries are stuffed with pork belly, fried chicken and fried tofu, as well as BBQ pork and veggie buns, potato gems with kimchi, spam and melted cheese.

For dessert, the pop up will serve a version of Gelato Messina's Chinese classic; deep fried ice cream balls filled with ‘dan ta’ (egg custard tart with flaky pastry) gelato, on a pillowy bed of mango pudding and passionfruit caramel

P.S. Soda will be providing its signature handmade, natural sodas (blackstrap ginger and grapefruit and honey).

For music, Mark Crotti will be performing throughout the event.

Messina Eats Wonderbao will be held at Messina HQ, 58 Mentmore Ave, Rosebery, Sydney.
