Chinese tea brand HEYTEA opens first outlet in Sydney
The brand boasts a footprint of 4,000 outlets worldwide.
Chinese tea brand HEYTEA opened its first outlet in Sydney at 569 George Street.
The brand was founded in Jiangbianli, China by Neo Nie who was frustrated over the quality of milk tea shops in his town often used low-quality ingredients, serving milk teas made with non-dairy powder and tea powder
By softening the overpowering taste of tea with a fine layer of cheese foam made with real milk, he created an alternative. To this day, unlike many bubble tea stores, HEYTEA has said it never uses artificial flavours or creamers.
“We are excited to bring HEYTEA to Sydney, a city that embodies diversity and innovation. Our expansion into Australia is a testament to our commitment to bringing unique modern tea experiences to new markets.” Yujia, Vice President, Overseas Strategy & Franchise
The new Sydney store will offer HEYTEA's signature drinks, including cheese tea, premium tea with creamy cheese foam, refreshing fruit teas made from natural ingredients, and an oat milk vegan option. Committed to promoting healthier alternatives, HEYTEA provides free upgrades to zero-sugar sweeteners, enhancing its appeal to health-conscious consumers.
