Aktiv Brands unveils 1st 'se7en' food court model

The new food court model was recently unveiled at the Indooroopilly Shopping Centre in Queensland. It is the first of its kind for se7en and celebrates the brands successful entry into the competitive food court environment.

Se7en’s latest store is a result of months invested in market research, brand development and product trialling undertaken by se7en developer and manager, Aktiv Brands.

Se7en’s all day menu, displayed on a series of menu display LCD screens, provided customers with a modern offer that includes all day breakfasts, gourmet grills, seafood, freshly made salads, kid’s meals, coffee and seasoned chips and wedges.

In another ‘first’ for se7en, Indooroopilly also introduces se7en’s new and improved ‘Grills’ range – a variety of gourmet burgers featuring Australian Wagyu Beef patties, skinless breast meat, exotic ingredients such as Sweet Chilli Roasted Pumpkin and Moroccan spiced mayonnaise. Se7en’s new pure Sour Dough Rolls also contain no additives or preservatives.

Se7en Managing Director, Dean Vella, says “se7en is all about innovation, high-end delicious Gourmet Takeaway meals and cheeky fun. We wanted to create a brand that feels like, looks like and tastes like a breath of fresh air and we think the new Indooroopilly store reflects that”.

Dean says, “our corporate team goes to great lengths to ensure that we carefully balance store design, menu design, brand personality, service quality and operational efficiency to make delivering on our promise a constant.”

Se7en’s image and brand elements in its new format at Indooroopilly remain mostly unaltered, however many back of house modifications were made to ensure that production and service could keep up with demand.

The se7en franchise model has been carefully designed to ensure it can succeed in a broad range of locations from food courts to outdoor dining precincts; to stand alone locations on a coastal esplanade; or the main street of a country town.

The first two se7en outlets to open are located along outdoor dining precincts attached to Calamvale Central Shopping Centre and Capalaba Central Shopping Centre, both in South East Brisbane.
