Below is a Q&A with Janine Allis, Boost Juice's Founder and Managing Director.

QSR Media: What inspired you to write the book?

Janine: A number of reasons. I get approached by a number of people who have following the Boost journey. There are so many different stories out there so it is nice to de mystify the story and give the actual account. It was great therapy for me to relive the story. Attached is the long version, which is the intro from the book, but the also the reason I wrote the book.

QSR Media: What might surprise people in the book?

Janine: The surprise may come from the fact that the business was started by someone who did not have a clue, was not a budding entrepreneur, but a determined, average Aussie women. They may be surprised by the honesty in the stories, and that it was not always smooth sailing.

QSR Media: What might someone who works in the QSR industry get from reading your book?

Janine: Some tips on areas I wish I had known before I started the business 13 years ago.

QSR Media: Can you share some of your "secrets for success"?

Janine: The best secrets are the most obvious ones that we know or have heard before, but we forget or find it too hard to implement.
