How Pokéd grows through JV partnerships

Director and Executive Chef William Lo also revealed the factors driving the brand’s success.

Amidst a challenging franchising climate, Pokéd remained on top by keeping up with the latest food trends and sustaining growth through trust and strong business relationships.

"All our stores are JV (joint venture) partnered. It's really about building strong relationships," director and executive chef William Lo told QSR Media in an exclusive interview.

Recently, the Asian-inspired chain introduced its mixing bowls, as well as served new ingredients and sauces. It also follows the current healthy food trend with a new ice cream range, which is vegan and dairy-free.

Contributing to the brand’s success, Lo said, is their people who represent the business. “It’s critical for us to ensure we create a harmonious and happy environment for them to work and excel in.”
