Aggregators seen to deliver ‘richer' personalisation in 2020

“Substantial” delivery growth in secondary cities was noted from last year.

Larger regional expansion and delivery of “richer” personalisation amidst technology improvements are seen for food aggregators this year, according to Menulog.

“I think we [food aggregators] got a really strong position in the market. This year, we’ve seen great growth so we are in a healthy position to tackle the future,” ANZ commercial director Rory Murphy told QSR Media in an interview.

The delivery firm highlighted key delivery trends from last year, including continued consumer adoption and “substantial” growth of delivery in secondary cities, such as Adelaide, Brisbane and Perth, just as more restaurants trade in the market.

Currently, Menulog has 17,000 partner restaurants on their platform.
