Crust Pizza goes for a more modern appeal with brand refresh
The pizza chain says they want to “future-proof” their image.
For the first time since their inception, Retail Food Group-owned Crust Pizza has unveiled a new modern look in a bid to reflect their premium restaurant-inspired menu.
The brand’s Nerang store was the the first Australian outlet to unveil the new contemporary black and brass look of the brand.
“We want our customers to feel like they are stepping into their own modern local pizzeria and the new look brand will help us do that. Part of it is also encouraging our store managers to run the new look stores with pride, like they are serving food to their own extended family in their own upmarket restaurants,” Crust Pizza Nerang franchisee Sam El Debel said.
“We’ve been working with franchise owners like Sam to create a brand which reflects our premium restaurant inspired menu. It’s also about future-proofing the brand image so it’s appealing, contemporary and relevant not just for today’s customers but into the future,” Crust general manager Renee North explained.
Crust, which started in 2001, adds that the new brand look allows for “localised interpretations” that celebrate the local areas and communities.
“This brand refresh is projecting an image that is fully differentiated within the traditional QSR space and that’s really exciting for our customers,” she added.
