Piccolo Me pays tribute to Robin Hood with new Reuben sandwich
The cafe chain will donate $1.00 from every Reuben Hood Sandwich sold during the promotional period to Backpack Bed for Homeless.
Starting this month until the end of May, Piccolo Me will be selling the “Reuben Hood”, the chain's rustic reuben sandwich that pays homage to English folklore legend Robin Hood.
Available in their 19 Sydney stores and 2 Melbourne stores, the new offering features corned beef, apple slaw, Swiss cheese and thousand island dressing, packed up in between seeded harvest rolls.
The cafe chain will $1.00 from every Reuben Hood Sandwich sold during the promotional period to Backpack Bed for Homeless, a charity that provides emergency relief backpack beds to street sleeping homeless people without shelter.
Backpack Bed for Homeless works in partnership with over 600 homeless agencies across Australia to reach homeless people who do not have any other form of accommodation.
