Michel's Patisserie gives away cakes at hospital
The bakery chain surprised teachers and volunteers at Lady Cilento Children's Hospital School when it gave away an array of cakes for their hard work and dedication to the local community.
Michel’s Patisserie dropped the cakes to the hospital school on Friday 12 August for the teachers and volunteers to enjoy during their morning tea break.
Managing Director of the Bakery Café Division, Alicia Atkinson, said Michel’s often surprises and delights people within the local community.
“The teachers at this school are in and out and have great demands placed on them, so it was nice to be able to surprise them with a few treats,” she said.
“The teachers and volunteers said they were overwhelmed and very thankful for the delectable cakes that were provided.”
The Lady Cilento Children's Hospital School provides targeted educational programs for students from prep to year 12 for inpatients, outpatients and family members of hospitalised patients.
