Red Rooster celebrates 50 years of Red
The restaurant chain will offer a limited merch collection and Red Royalty dollars.
Red Rooster is celebrating 50 years of serving as Australia’s chicken shop through promotions such as limited merchandise collection and a chance to win 50,000 Red Royalty Dollars.
The chicken shop is “painting the town Red” by offering various initiatives to more than 360 Red Rooster restaurants.
It designed a limited edition capsule merch and apparel collection that featured the “infamous Reds tagline RED RED READY and rooster logo of yesteryear.”
The collection includes t-shirts and kids’ items. The Red Red Ready retro collection will be available to purchase for a limited time through www.redroostershop.com.au from Monday, 22 August.
Red Royalty members who spend a minimum of $10 at the restaurant between 3 August and 30 August will get access to food offers and a chance to win their share of 50,000 Red Royalty Dollars.
Red Rooster CEO Clint Ault said, “In 2022 the Red Rooster that Aussies know and love is going through an epic transformation – new food, new restaurants, new everything- but the brand will always have a special place in the hearts of Australians, regardless of their age or location.”
“We are proud of our history and the role the brand has played in shaping the food landscape and culture of this country for decades. We don’t take this position and reputation lightly and we are excited and even more proud of where Red Rooster is headed in the future,” Ault added.
The first Red Rooster restaurant opened in Kelmscott, Perth in 1972, which began the chicken takeaway.
