Beefy’s ramps up Brisbane expansion amidst strong sales
This will be the brand’s third location in Brisbane.
Beefy’s is opening its third restaurant in Brisbane, following the openings in Cannon Hill and Capalaba.
The move strengthens Beefy’s network across Queensland and Northern NSW, which now spans from the Sunshine Coast and Toowoomba down to the Gold Coast and Ballina, with a new Oxenford store set to open in late October.
Beefy’s expansion follows a strong FY2025, in which Beefy’s sold more than 1.3 million pies, generated $21.2m in underlying revenue, recorded 16.6% network sales growth, whilst same-store sales also grew 5.1%.
The Morayfield launch coincides with footy finals season — a period Beefy’s calls Australia’s “peak pie season.” Historical data shows Australians consume more than 270 million pies annually (11–12 per person), with demand spiking during AFL and NRL finals.
Last year, Beefy’s saw a 25% uplift in sales during finals, equating to more than 27,000 additional pies, sausage rolls and pastries in just over three weeks. To capture this demand, the brand has launched its $40 Footy Feed Pack, offering four pies, two large chips, two gravies and four 600ml Coca-Cola varieties, designed to feed fans at home for just $10 a head.
“Beefy’s has built a loyal following across Queensland, and the success of our Cannon Hill and Capalaba openings made Morayfield the natural next step,” Taylor Sneddon, Beefy’s Brand Manager, said.
