Jamaica Blue launches new summer menu

The brand introduced its new summer menu featuring artisan burgers and sandwiches like the Vintage Ground Beef Burger.

Jamaica Blue Executive Chef, Danika Heslop, said that they are tapping into Australians' love of premium quality sandwiches and burgers by creating a range of premium bread-based dishes for the Jamaica Blue NEW summer 2015/2016 menu.

The new menu launched on 16 November and includes 13 classic dishes with a twist. Each Jamaica Blue café will offer at least three of the 13 new summer menu dishes, as selected by each franchise café-owner and in keeping with taste palate of local customers.

The new summer menu dishes include:

  • Beef and Beetroot Burger: Beef patty, beetroot relish, rocket, tomato, cucumber & aioli on brioche.
  • Vintage Ground Beef Burger: Bacon, cheddar cheese, pickle, aioli, rocket, tomato & red onion on brioche.
  • Thai Chicken Burger: Grilled chicken in mild green curry spices, tomato, cucumber, mayonnaise & sweet chilli sauce.
  • Chicken Caesar Burger: Chicken, bacon, egg, parmesan cheese & lettuce on a toasted roll.
  • Peri Peri Chicken Burger: Grilled chicken breast on a toasted roll with lettuce, tomato, avocado, peri peri sauce & mayonnaise.
  • BLAT: Toasted sandwich with bacon, lettuce, avocado & tomato with mayonnaise.
  • Steak Sandwich: Scotch fillet, roasted tomato, beetroot, caramelised onions & salad with tomato chutney & mayonnaise on toast.
  • Turkey Club Sandwich: Turkey breast, bacon, tomato & lettuce on toasted bread.
  • Almond and Sesame Chicken Schnitzel Turkish: Almond & sesame crumbed chicken served on Turkish with homemade coleslaw & aioli.
  • Rueben Sandwich: Pastrami, sauerkraut, cheddar cheese, pickle, Dijon mustard & spicy mayonnaise on rye bread.
  • Open Scotch Fillet Sandwich: Bacon, caramelised onion, cheddar cheese, pickle, rocket, tomato & paprika aioli on toast.
  • Avocado, Vege and Herb Burger: Lentil & cannellini bean patty, avocado smash, aioli, rocket, tomato & cucumber on brioche.
  • Grilled Barramundi Burger: Polenta crumbed fish, mango chutney, mayonnaise, rocket, tomato & cucumber on brioche.

Sweet Potato Wedges or Sweet Potato Crisps are also available for customers to add to their meal.
