Cafe2U brings mobile Protein Shakes to Australia
Over 25 grams of wholesome whey protein concentrate per serve.
The unique blend is now available in three flavours: Mocha Pro and Choc Rip or Mango Tango.
With only a handful of static cafes around the country serving protein-based coffees, the new on-the-go drink is a first to market in the convenience coffee sector, and the first targeted to consumers looking for a protein hit delivered directly to their workplace.
Cafe2U General Manager John Stanton said the drink launch forms part of the brand’s focus on using quality product and keeping ahead of the market trends by introducing this formula, and flavour infusion, of protein and coffee.
“It’s about meeting the needs of our consumer in a time where health is trending and the global expansion of coffee culture is dominating the market,” he said.
“We’re thrilled to be launching this exciting development in our menu offering!”
To launch the innovative beverage yesterday, Cafe2U partnered up with local gym Uber Shape Transformation Centre on the Gold Coast, to tap into the growing beverage trend of drinking for health and reach consumers focused on the health benefits of protein.
Director of Uber Shape Coby van den Ende said, “Protein is a vital supplement source for muscle recovery and Cafe2U is bringing it to your office door with a convenient alternative to your daily protein shake and coffee all-in-one.”
The protein shakes have taken off in all Cafe2U vans across Australia as the newest menu offering for customers.
