Pie Face unveils first ever outlet in NZ
They’re rolling out new flavours for Kiwis.
Last weekend, Pie Face opened its first store in New Zealand, at Auckland’s CBD.
Franchise partners, Julian Field and Jared Palmer, have secured an exclusive license to operate the Pie Face brand in New Zealand. Field also owns eight outlets of Subway, and together with Palmer, has 17 years of experience in the industry.
With a 24-hour license, the franchisees believe the new store will be a popular option for the late night crowd.
They are planning to open 10 stores across the North and South islands over the next 18 months and reach 60 outlets within the next 10 years. Their second outlet is already scheduled to open this coming November.
Field also revealed that several flavours have been developed especially for the New Zealand market, such as the butter chicken flavour.
"We are excited to be in business with Julian and Jared in New Zealand, given their depth of experience in building, operating and franchising QSR stores in New Zealand. We are like minded in our hands on approach to operations,” said Wayne Homschek, co-founder and global CEO of Pie Face.
