Huxtaburger unveils Pride-themed burger
The item was made in partnership with Masterchef Australia contestant Brendan Pang.
Huxtaburger announced it has unveiled a limited-edition rainbow burger in commemoration of Pride Month.
Made in partnership with Masterchef Australia contestant Brendan Pang, the Pride Burger features crispy Chinese fried chicken, spicy Kung Pao sauce, Asian slaw with fresh herbs in between a handcrafted rainbow bun.
Available until June 30, Huxtaburger said all profits from the Pride Burger will be donated to LGBTQIA+ youth charity Minus18.
“Teaming up with Huxtaburger to create the Pride Burger was a no-brainer. This burger brings together two worlds that mean so much to me - food & support for the LGBTQIA+ community,” Pang said in a media release.
“When Brendan asked if we could pull off a rainbow bun, we knew we were onto something epic. We are really proud to continue supporting the LGBTQIA+ community and work closely with Minus18 to make sure our collaborative campaigns are meaningful,” added Huxtaburger general manager Jason Geriesi.
Huxtaburger is also serving up free Nude Vodka sodas for every Pride Burger sold in store and online for customers aged 18 and older.
