Domino’s launches mobile ordering site

In a drive to always be first, Domino’s Pizza recently enabled customers to order online through its new ordering platform.

The Mobile Ordering Site is the most advanced Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) mobile ordering site in Australia. Anyone with an internet enabled mobile device can order through it.

This is another achievement from the pizza company that brought the successful Domino’s iPhone App in November 2009, its first ever in Australia. The iPhone App, within its first three months, generate more than $2 million in sales and has been downloaded more than 600,000 times to date.

“It’s no secret that our digital business is the way of the future for us. In fact, over the next three years we know that more than 50% of sales will be from this side of our business,” MD Don Meij, Domino’s Pizza CEO, said.

“We know traditional methods of ordering pizza – such as walking into store or using your home
phone to dial in an order – no longer resonate with our customers. We need to move with them
and offer greater possibilities.”

Mr. Meij believes that the Mobile Ordering Site will drive the Company’s sales to new heights in the Australian online industry.
