Nestlé welcomes entries for its 2017 GOLDEN CHEF'S HAT AWARD

If you’re aged between 16 and under 25 on 30 September, are currently working in the culinary industry of Australia, and think you have what it takes, then it’s time to step up and make your mark.

As the longest running culinary Award in the country for young chefs, the Nestlé GOLDEN CHEF’S HAT AWARD offers the next generation of talent the chance to test their skills, gain valuable experience and compete for a career-changing prize, not to mention national recognition.

It’s a great learning experience to really find out where you are as a chef and if successful in your region’s heat you will get to cook-off against the country’s best chef talent at the National Final in Sydney this September.

Not only will you have the chance to win medals across entrée, main and dessert course categories, you’ll get the opportunity to compete at Fine Food Australia, cooking-off live in front of show attendees in purpose built kitchens at the National Cook-off, with one team being crowned the 2017 National Champions and picking up a prize trip to Vietnam for a once-in-a-lifetime culinary experience.
