Motto Motto to open first Perth restaurant with $1 ramen offer
Locations at Galleria and Midland Gate are also planned.
Brisbane-born Japanese restaurant group Motto Motto will open its first Perth restaurant at Currambine Central on 17 September, marking its entry into Western Australia.
The chain will hold its first $1 Ramen Day in Perth on 27 September, with 400 bowls of Classic Tonkotsu Ramen available for $1 from 10 a.m., whilst stocks last.
The ramen features pork bone broth, shoyu kaeshi, noodles, a marinated soft-boiled egg, fresh shallots, and seaweed.
Iced tea and matcha soft serve will also be available during the event.
The Currambine opening is the first of three Motto Motto restaurants planned across Perth within 10 weeks.
Locations at Galleria and Midland Gate are scheduled to follow.
Led by Executive Chef Ryuji Tomihara, Motto Motto's menu includes ramen, donburi, Japanese curry, bento, sides, and desserts.
The three Perth restaurants will be franchise-owned and represent more than $2m in franchisee investment.
The rollout is expected to create more than 80 roles across the three locations.
Matt Fickling, Chief Operating Officer of Motto Motto, said the group is targeting 10 restaurants across Western Australia within four years.
