The move is part of the chain’s plans to have 100 locations over the next ten years.
Carl’s Jr. has revealed that its first Sydney location will be located at the Greenway Centre in Wetherill Park.
The opening is done in partnership with franchisee CJ’s QSR Group, which will be taking on the task of launching the burger chain in Metro Sydney and parts of regional NSW.
“We have no doubt that Carl’s Jr. will soon become the ultimate destination for NSW consumers seeking the most premium burger at affordable prices,” said Gaven Needham, general manager For Asia Pacific of Carl’s Jr. parent company, CKE Restaurants.
The Wetherill location will provide about 60 jobs to local residents.
“We will swiftly expand as property deals have already been negotiated in 4 regional areas, with several more across the metro Sydney area. We are still actively seeking out the best sites across the state,” added Andrew Firn, managing director of CJ’s QSR Group.
Needham previously revealed Carl’s Jr.’s plans to grow in Sydney in an earlier interview with QSR Media, as part of ambitious plans to establish 100 stores within five years.
