Motto Motto has bolstered its executive team and confirmed two new restaurant openings for the first half of 2021.
Matt Fickling, who was announced as the brand’s chief commercial officer last year, has now been promoted to group chief operating officer. In addition leading the brand & marketing, supply chain and franchising functions, he will have added responsibility for restaurant operations and new restaurant development.
The executive, once CEO of Huxtaburger, will have direct reports including the National Operations Manager, National Development Manager, National Supply Chain Manager and Marketing Coordinator as part of the new role.
Rishad Contractor, hired by Motto Motto in September last year,has now been elevated to the said National Operations Manager position.
The Japanese restaurant chain revealed it will open its ninth QLD restaurant by late March at Robina Town Centre.
A third NSW restaurant is also set to open in June at the Marrickville Metro al fresco dining precinct.
Motto Motto also expressed plans to enter the Victorian market in 2022 and is looking for franchisees across the country.
