How Red Rooster became the roast chicken champions

Founded in 1972, it opened its first restaurant in Kelmscott WA, and has since successfully spread the passion for roast chickens right across suburban, regional and rural Australia. For almost 30 of these years, Red Rooster has used RATIONAL ovens to replace the rotisserie ovens previously used.

“The RATIONAL ovens replaced the rotisserie ovens and reduced the cook time from a 1 ½ to 55 minutes,” said Red Rooster’s CEO Chris Green. “RATIONAL ovens provide great consistency… and from a quality perspective you can also cook a variety of things in the oven. It’s been a long partnership and it’s a very important piece of equipment and gives us some great advantages.”
