Mad Mex Fresh Mexican Grill is rolling out the new dining concept, Cantina de Mad Mex; a "Californian seaside" themed casual bar and eatery with a dedicated bar and an extended menu.
Cantina will offer daily freshly made cócteles (cocktails) including the Fresh Coconut Mojito, the ‘Margo’ House Margarita and the ‘El Santo’ Margarita with Don Julio tequila, fresh lime and orange juice with a chilli and lime salted rim.
The first Cantina de Mad Mex opened at Westfield Kotara’s new rooftop dining precinct with seating for 80 people.
“Cantina de Mad Mex is a game changer for the business, designed for the future to cater for the growing trend towards a quality, casual dining experience with all the edge and fun expected from Mad Mex,” said CEO Clovis Young.
“By the end of 2016, Mad Mex plans to open 20 Cantina de Mad Mex in Australia and venture out into the international market including the Middle East and Asia."
Unlike Mad Mex which offers fast service in a food court setting, Cantina de Mad Mex will be a dining and drinking experience with a dedicated bar all in a relaxed atmosphere. Cantina will always be located within existing or new dining precincts rather than food courts.
