Eagle Boys launches Potato Skins

Eagle Boys launches Potato Skins

The menu addition has made Eagle Boys the first Australian pizza maker to offer the local favourite which used to be reserved for restaurants.

With a crisp shell, smooth potato inside and savoury cheese and bacon toppings, the Loaded Potato Skins are one of 31 new items on the Eagle Boys’ menu.

Eagle Boys CEO Todd Clayton said given potato skins were such an Australian savoury favourite, he was surprised no other pizza maker had offered them before.

“During the past 12 months I’ve looked at Australian food trends, what Aussies like and don’t like. Potato skins stood out as one of those sides Aussies loved, but generally could only get if they went out to a restaurant or cafe,” he said.

“In fact, a recent report found that hot potato products are the leading fast food product by consumption in Australia.”
