Domino’s aims to double its Facebook fan base

Domino’s aims to double its Facebook fan base

And what better way to do that than through an aggressive customer-focused gift giveaway.

Domino’s Pizza is setting its sights on becoming the biggest Australian brand on Facebook by doubling its fan base this week and is giving away a free Choc Lava Cake as a gift to every new and existing Facebook fan between Monday 23rd January and Sunday 29th January.

Don Meij, Domino’s CEO and MD, said the Facebook giveaway will be the biggest free product promotion the company has ever done.

“This is without a doubt the biggest giveaway Domino’s has ever done and what’s more exciting is this free gift is available to anyone who is either an existing Facebook fan of ours or to anyone who joins our page this week,” said Meij.

He said they currently have 318,826 fans on their ‘Domino’s Pizza – Australia’ Facebook page and they want to double the number by Sunday. Meij said Facebook has been a great tool for them to get more connected with their customers.

The CEO and MD explained, “Fans don’t even need to order a pizza to claim their free Choc Lava Cake, they simply need to get their unique code when they like our Facebook page, order online and then pick it up from their nearest store – no strings attached, it’s that easy!”

Domino’s free Choc Lava Cake promotion runs from Monday 23 January until midnight Sunday 29 January 2012.
