Salsas Fresh Mex Grill appoints Brett Carman as general managerSalsas Fresh Mex Grill has appointed Brett Carman as General Manager as it gears up for rapid expansion over the coming 24 months. Salsas plans to reach 50 stores within 2 years. Jeff Allis, CEO of Retail Zoo (parent company of Boost Juice Bars & Salsas Fresh Mex Grill) says “Brett’s appointment will enable us to convert our market leading position in the emerging fresh Mex category into a dominant QSR brand and network of stores. We’re aiming to put a burrito in the hand of every Australian.” “Salsas is already the market leader but there’s plenty of potential on the table to pick up and run with. We’re gearing up to be ‘the’ fresh mex brand in Australia. The product is unbelievably good and I’ll have the backing of the brains and systems behind Boost to get us there,” says Brett. “The non-negotiables for me are passionate customer service, brand alignment and local marketing – so along with opening new stores, I’ll be focusing on driving these fundamentals through the business.” Brett Carman was most recently General Manager of Operations with Grill’d in the period of expansion from 6 to 46 stores. Prior to that, Brett was Regional Manager with Gloria Jeans Coffees and has experience in owning his own cafes and catering business. Do you know more about this story?
