Eagle Boys raised more than $20,000 for Cerebral Palsy Alliance in just a week

For every dessert sold last August 1 to 7, $1 was donated to the Cerebral Palsy Alliance’s Research Foundation.

Eagle Boys Pizza will donate over $200,000 over the next three years to Cerebral Palsy Alliance to raise awareness throughout the nation and assist in cerebral palsy researchand fundraising campaigns like its latest effort.

As a key aspect of the partnership, Eagle Boys will help fund a researcher to explore the causes of this complex condition, and to further develop the Australian Cerebral Palsy Register.

In Australia, a child is born with cerebral palsy every 15 hours. It is the most common physical disability in childhood. Cerebral palsy is caused by an injury to the developing brain, which usually occurs before birth.

Eagle Boys Pizza CEO Todd Clayton said the pizza maker’s first fundraising effort to support Cerebral Palsy Alliance was a great success.

“Cerebral Palsy Awareness Week was an appropriate backdrop to kick-start our three year commitment to the Cerebral Palsy Alliance and its important work in trying to identify a cause,” Mr Clayton said.
