Exploring industry trends is Sissel Resengren, Head of Foodservice, BIS Shrapnel. Resengren has more than 25 years of experience in marketing research and for the past decade, has specialised in the food and beverage industry, particularly in the Asia/Pacific region.

Tackling the issue on the need for reform in property leasing is Russell Zimmerman, Executive Director at Australian Retailers Association. Joining him are Simon Fonteyn, Managing Director of Leasing Information Services; and Gerry Gerard, General Manager - Property of Bakers Delight Holdings.

You can also expect to hear inputs on current design trends in Australia and overseas from Mark McConnel, Director of Mima Design; Joseph Somma, Owner of Otto Design Interiors; Philip Blanco, Director of Mad Mex Fresh Mexican Grill; and Tony Melhem, founder of Coco Cubano.

Meanwhile, Nicole West, National Marketing Manager of Nando's; Peter Dable, National Marketing Manager of The Cheesecake Shop; and Paola Tanner, Director of Fuse will discuss how they are using new media, technology and traditional marketing channels to create engagement with their customers.

And, Tanya Gilchrist, Director of Systems & Integration of Rock Paper Scissors Franchising will talk about what's real and unreal when it comes to saving money from various technology implementations.
