Red Rock Noodle Bar goes into events catering
Red Rock Noodle Bar takes it noodle experience outdoors with the launch of its mobile mini kitchen.
The chain recently joined its first major event over the weekend, partaking at the Gold Coast Marathon.
According to Phil Colburn, Managing Director of Red Rock Noodle Bar, "the inspiration to create a mobile kitchen came from the lack of healthy food options at big events like concerts, festivals and the many sports events like the Gold Coast Marathon we just did. We have so many Events approach us just seemed like the next step [for the brand]."
Noting that the new service presentation of the chain adds another dimension to the current franchisees and smaller entry fee for someone looking to get in to a healthy food franchise on a smaller outlay; While giving the chain exposure to many different groups that may not have seen the brand through normal channels.
In the next six months, the chain plans to have two mobile kitchens in place for events in the South East Queensland area.
"We are currently taking enquiries and applications for areas outside this and will have at least another two more outside this, in particular in the booming Melbourne Market where customers are very open to this concept," he said.
