Bain Capital acquires Boost Juice

According to BRW, the private-equity deal with Bain Capital closed on Friday.

Boost Juice founders Janine and Jeff Allis have reduced their stake in Retail Zoo “slightly” but will keep their executive roles in the business.

“The end point is that Jeff and I have exactly the same roles we had last week and we’ve taken some money off the table but the majority of our shares are still in there,” Janine Allis told BRW.

BRW noted on the article that "The Allis family previously owned about 25 per cent of Retail Zoo, the parent company for Boost Juice, Salsa’s Fresh Mex Grill, Cibo Espresso and Hatch."
