Mad Mex Brisbane opens

Mad Mex Brisbane opens

Mad Mex Fresh Mexican Grill today opens its flagship Queensland store at 332 Brunswick Street, Fortitude Valley (top of the Brunswick Street Mall).

Mad Mex entrepreneur and founder Clovis Young said following the success of the company’s eight Sydney and Melbourne stores, Mad Mex was thrilled to be in Brisbane in time for the Christmas and New Year holiday season.

The restaurant will appeal to Queenslanders’ love of market fresh produce and dishes that pack a flavoursome punch.

“We know Brisbane-ites will be delighted at just how good California-influenced Mexican cuisine can taste. Our gourmet made to order burritos, tacos, nachos, burrito bowls and quesadillas, combined with quick service in a vibrant atmosphere (void of cliché imagery) sets a new standard in Brisbane’s fast-casual dining marketplace,” he said.

“We are committed to offering the freshest and healthiest gourmet food in town. Our fully customisable menu allows patrons to individualise their choices to suit their tastes or dietary requirements.

“We believe that just because you want a fast meal, you should never sacrifice quality and we’re confident Queenslanders will love all that Baja-Mexican cuisine has to offer.”

Mad Mex Fresh Mexican Grill only uses top quality meats, produce and condiments in its food. The slow-cooked and grilled meats along with the “made from scratch” guacamole are prepared on-site daily and imported Mexican chillies and tomatillos ensure the salsas have truly authentic flavour. All meats are AUSMEAT or export grade cuts, and chicken products are all free-range, hormone-free and chemical-free.

Eat-in or take-away food items range from $2 to $12.90. The fully licensed venue also offers signature $8 margaritas made with Herradura Tequila, and a range of local and imported cervezas (beers) and a selection of Jarritos, an imported Mexican soft drink.
