The new A600 coffee system is a product of Franke's efforts to learn from the experiences of restaurant operators and study the needs of coffee roasters and coffee lovers.
As a truly intelligent coffee machine, the A600 redefines how consumers interact with it and optimizes the extraction process to ensure perfect results in every cup. The coffee system incorporates all Franke flagship technology items including a touch screen user interface, a patented brewing unit with three versions to choose from depending to customer preference and a brand new FoamMaster module.
"[It's] not only the best foam in class but [it also has] a fully integrated cleaning cycle that is significantly quicker to be cleaned, is scientifically proven to be more hygienic and is much easier to operate than the industry standard," said David Downing, Head of Sales Asia Pacific at Franke Coffee Systems.
Franke has selected only the best components for the A600 and combined them to create a perfectly matched system. This consistency can be seen as soon as you open the practical, easily accessible bean hopper. Its shape ensures that the machine is extremely easy to fill, as well as making sure the beans continue to move optimally through the feeder.
The bean hopper can be removed easily using the central unlocking mechanism on the front of the machine. This then gives you direct access to the coarseness settings in the ceramic grinder – and all without the use of any tools. The precision grinding discs are extremely robust and have a long service life, which results in consistently uniform grinding results. A further innovation in the A600 is the brewing unit, which can also be replaced easily without any tools. The heart of this fully automatic machine can be removed with just a few clicks. Users can select from three different brewing units according to their specific needs.
He shared to QSR Media that the machine is an asset to the quick service section, noting that the intelligent ordering menu can register a high number of beverage orders at once and produce them one after another.

The eight-inch color touchscreen with crystal clear resolution offers an easy interface for users. Intuitive menu prompts result in straightforward, efficient operation. The selection of beverages can be set individually and adapted to one's exact requirements. In addition, additional sales can be achieved through the exceptionally easy placement of advertising messages and evocative images on the display.
Other benefits include the ease of use in refilling bean- and powder-hoppers; tool-free removal of components for easy cleaning and preventive maintenance; and a consistent coffee and milk quality that is unmatched.
Another asset of the A600, he noted, is its modular build. "The machine is designed to be compatible with all sorts of auxiliary equipment: cup warmers, flavor station (sirup dispensing device), any kind of milk fridge - so there's not only full flexibility in terms of capacity and features to chose from, but also on how the machine fits into the budget of the customer.”
