Guests will also receive a $2 token to use at their next visit.
From October 23 to October 29, 2017, Roll’d will donate $2 from every Bún sale to their partner charity, Blue Dragon Children’s Foundation, in recognition of Children’s Day.
Roll’d stores nationwide are currently promoting the Bún, a Vietnamese noodle salad, for $10, with the opportunity to ‘Roll into a Meal’ for only an additional $5 to include a regular drink and side.
Rolld’s co-founder and CEO, Bao Hoang, has been working closely with Blue Dragon Founder and CEO Michael Brosowski over the past two years to raise both funds and awareness for the Australian non-profit. The original focus of the partnership was to build a boarding house in Dien Bien, Vietnam. In 2016, the boarding house opened and was met with high demand that a pledge to open a second in a neighboring village was made.
“Children growing up in extreme poverty often have no choice but to quit school and move far from home which exposes them to dangers such as trafficking, homelessness, sexual exploitation, drug abuse, and illness. We want to combat this by providing housing and education to these children and give them a chance to dream big, and dream safe,” said Hoang.
